How to restrict planning objects in planning book?

Hello,

Below is my situation.

There are different product groups

A group- A101, A102,A103, A201,A202,A203

B group- B101,B104,B106,B212,B242

One of the selection profile contains A* and another contains B*

Now the need is out of A*, the user want to see A1* and A2*, same for B1* and B2*

Currently users dont have access to /sapapo/mc77 and hence the shuffler in planning book.

The only option that I can think of is to create separate selection profiles as A1*, A2*, B1*, B2*

Opening the shuffler is not suggested as users can access the entire set of planning objects. Restricting user access with S&C role object C_APO_PROD is also not feasible as there would be numerous number of roles.

Is there any other option to do this?

Dear,

You can restrict authorizations of users by authorization object C_APO_SEL3.

In the individual user authorizations for selections you can set the display, change etc to this prefix

so for A you give authorization for A* and B gets B*

Please refer an OSS note  400434 which explains the authorization objects.

You can also use the BADI /SAPAPO/SDP_SELECTOR  to check the authorizations for selections.

First we have to take authorization of shffler  and selection ID  and create two groups  and create as u require of restrit products and assign and take off autorizations
