Certificates from vendor

We want to create inspection lots before GR. Like source inspection. However we wish to create multiple inspection lots according to vendor batches. Is there any way to map this process in sap?

You can register several vendor's certificate against one PO.

When you register certificate, you will input vendor batch number.

And this number will be integrated automatically when GR is performed.

(If the material is managed as batch, you will input vendor batch at MIGO.)

If you need several source inspection lots for one PO item..

I recommend manual lot creation at transaction QA01.

If different line item of PO has different vendor batches than it possible.

I understand from so many forum questions that multiple inspection lots are not possible. If inane to customize QI07 what will be the impact? Or what factors i need to consider?
