Eror when processing AUC for WBS

Hi Experts,

                 I'm working on capex proj scenarios. IM-PS integration.when I release my WBS system should create AUC automatically in DEV i tested and its working fine there.Now, in QAS while releasing WBS I am getting error as "Eror when processing AUC for WBS" & "Enter asset number which is between XXXXX & XXXXX"

Now, when i manually go to create AUC (Edit> WBS> Investm. Programs>AUC) then after entering asset number system is creating auc

however, in DEV just by releasing WBS system is creating AUC.

Is it the correct behavior ?

Kindly suggest.

Certainly behavior is not correct.

Check if number ranges is assigned to AuC in your QA system. Take FI-AM consultant's help to dig down in this issue.

I think number ranges are assigned. Because system is saying "Enter asset number which is between 951400000 & 951499999" . And when I go via Edit> WBS> Invst. Progrm> AUC > And, here I enter 951400001 at Asset field > back> system status is REL AUC.

But, in DEV , When I release WBS> system status is REL AUC at one.

What's missing, Kindly suggest.

Hi Manas,

I think you shoul review your number range

Go to the investment profile and extract the number range you have configured XX

Go to AS08 and enter the company code, check the range for number XX, it souldn't be external. And current number has to be in the range.

What Sara is said is correct. You should maintain the number range as Internal rather External. If it is external, then system would expect the number in that given range.
