Hi All,
MDM Version: 7.1.05.85
Server : UNIX
All PRD systems like MDM,ECC,CRM are installed in 1 LPAR with 108GB RAM.
We have almost 2.9 Million (29 Lakhs) records in main table and please find the below repository complexity.
Repository | Total No of tables | Main table | Subtables
Total Fields | Lookup fields | Total fields
BP extended | 62 | 165 | 57 | 258 |
Error: We maintains addresses of BPs in Qualified table. However whenever Address table reaches to 20Lakhs or 2M then we are not able to login to any MDM clients like datamanager, Import manager or syndicator with error message "Out Of Memory".
Is there any parameter where max limit or threshold has been set?
Please guide for the same asap.
Thanks and Regards,
Vikas Patel.
Hi Vikas,
I agree with Vikas's comment,SAP recommends that number of records in Qualified table be within 10k.
One can consider using Tuples or other change in Data Model for better performance.
Thanks,
Ravi

Hi Vikas,
Qualified table is also a flat table. It is always better to have less than 10K records in Qualified table (applies to Flat lookup table also).
Please remodel your datamodel to shift storage of address data from Qualified tables to a different table type.

Vinay

Hi Vikas,
There are no documents that tells limit of the Qualified tables. Use Tuples instead of Qualified Tables may get a solution. please refer this link:

Vikas,
There is no parameter, where number of qualified records can be set. Please refer to the similar thread, which might help you: http://scn.sap.com/thread/3219441
As per my understanding, definitely your qualified table is containing too many records. As a solution, you may need to switch from Address Qualified table to Address Tuple. This will resolve your issue.
Please refer to the Initial Sizing For SAP NetWeaver MDM --> Master Data Server --> Impact of Using Tuples Instead of Qualified Tables section in MDM 7.1 Sizing Guide document.
For time being, check the disk space, where Database server has installed and where MDM repository .a2a file is located. If any of them has less disk space, please increase it.
Hope, it will help..!!
