Hi All,

Please help me in sorting out the following error message:

In one section there is no number. "II-00-000000-00-XX"
Message no. CJ608
Diagnosis
You have maintained characters in the key for the project definition or WBS element, that are not valid according to the coding.
System Response
Processing stopped.
Procedure
Enter the key as defined in the coding.
Procedure for System Administration
Check if you have properly maintained the coding for the project definition or WBS element in Customizing. Make any changes necessary.

Hello Una,

The error message clearly states that, you have not followed project coding mask.

How is your coding mask defined? Recheck it and according  that, you create your project definition.

coding mask should be checked first. SAP note 421212 contains one check report, you need to create it in your system and run it to check if it can help to find any inconsistencies.

Refer your coding mask error above. Probably, you are using character in place where you are supposed to use numeric. If you use 00 in coding mask, then you must use ONLY numeric number. If you use XX in that segment of coding mask you can use alpha-numeric.

Recheck your WBS structure.

Hi,

Check and confirm your WBS structure should reflect Coding mask. If mismtaches system gives an error.
