Post-upgrade steps for GRC RAR,CUP and ERM?

We recently upgraded below components/SPs on my GRC YGS System and connection system YRS system

-upgrade YRS to VIRSANH SP20  --  (Upgraded from SP16 to SP20)

-upgrade YRS to VIRSAHR SP18 -- Upgraded from SP14 to SP18

-upgrade YGS to VIRSANH SP20 -- Upgraded from SP16 to SP20

-upgrade YGS to VIRCC19P_5-20002299.SCA

-upgrade YGS to  GRC-SAC-SAE 5.3_19.8 ( Build ID:01121412 )

-upgrade YGS to AC-ERM 5.3_19_3

-upgrade YGS to AC_SPM 5.3_19.0

Basis team has completed above steps successfully and I (GRC Admin) tested functionality of GRC CUP, RAR,ERM, it was fine also.

Here my question is, Can I do any post-upgrade steps as mention below or not require.

I got below information one of my GRC Admin member said that we need to perform below post upgrade steps, Is it correct..

Post-upgrade steps consist of for CUP and ERM?

GRC CUP:backup-> export  initial system data->export data.

then import files:

The files to import are:

a)AE_init_clean_and_insert_data.xml - select the Clean and Insert options

b) AE_init_append_data.xml - select the Append option

c) AE_init_append_data_ForSODUARReview.xml - select Append option

d) AE_init_append_data_CC.xml - select Append option

e)From the navigation bar of the Configuration tab, select Upgrade.

The Upgrade screen appears.

f). Choose Upgrade.

For GRC ERM - post upgrade steps:

1)Files to import are:

a) RE_init_clean_and_insert_data.xml - select the Clean and Insert option.

b) RE_init_append_data.xml - select the Append option.

c) RE_init_methodology_data.xml - select the Append option.

2). a)Log on to SAP GRC Access Control 5.3 (Compliant User Provisioning)

  file to import: AE_init_append_data_RE.xml.

Choose Import and select the Append option.

b) Upgrade

Note:These files are provided by basis from package and we have to be make sure they provide correct files from SP.

Hi Nagaraju,

Yes, these post installation steps are mandatory steps after every upgrade of GRC Java support pack. These XML files have the data which is required to be uploaded for that particular support pack.

SAP also have released note for the same. Refer to below note...

1731581 - Files to upload after a support pack upgrade of GRC 5.3 components

Also, read out the Readme.txt file attach with each VIRXX component when you download and uncar SAR file.
