File to File : Creating Dynamic File Name.

Hi Experts,

        As i am new to PI, i got an requirement of ceating dynamic file names. i.e when XML have filename in tags it should create number of files in XML tags. Help me out pls.

Hi Arun,

A few cents, you could use a variable substitution as well. Check this: http://saptechnical.com/Tutorials/XI/Variable/substitution.htm

you put a variable with % in the file receiver name, and finally you define the path in your target XML when the adapter can find the value to put in the variable. Easy and fast.

Hi Arun,

Here follow like below:

1. you have set ASMA in FTP sender adapter.

2. Select ASMA in File Receiver Adapter.

3. In Mapping write one UDF as one source field field other target field. Say SF1 to TF1.

Hi.

You should use ASMA and create a UDF.

On CC receiver activate advance properties and check on filename.

Also on your MM , you need to create a UDF , like above blog.
