Connection from SAP PI to Gentran

Hi Experts

I would be working on Interfaces from ECC to Gentran, These interfaces should flow through PI 7.0,

What are the best possible ways to connect Gentran with SAP PI, How can we send the data to Gentran,

Hi PR,

Not sure why your client wants to keep 2 different EAI tools for a single message communication. You can replace Gentran with SAP PI and its B2B add on/Seeburger adapters.

You can connect to Gentran with different ways, but best would be File or HTTP communication. Gentran can write files or pick up file from your SAP system / FTP location which is accessible by PI. For HTTP, you can directly send xml message into Gentran Application server.
