Hi,
I'm doing the post installation steps for XI 3.0. I have run into a problem when doing the SLD configuration. When configuring the SLD Data Supplier Service in Visual Administrator I get the following error when I try to trigger the data transfer.
HTTP call failed: Unable to open SSL connection to host "<server>:<port>". Connection closed by remote host..
Points will be rewarded.
Thanks.
Mat
which port are you ussing in this step? it has to have this format 5<instance number>00, so, if you instance number is 00 the port have to be 50000, check this please.

If your J2EE http port is 50100 your https port should normally be 50101.
But you will have to configure use HTTPS on your J2EE server:

The port 50100 is free. I used it based on the convention mentioned in the documentation. I'm still having a problem with the configuration of the HTTP settings in the SLD data supplier. When I check the "Use HTTPS?" check box, I'm still getting the error. If I don't check the box, the data transfer seems to go through.
My point exactly!
If you want to use HTTPS the port wil be 50101, and you have to set up HTTPS on the J2EE engine!

I'm using port 50100.

Hi Mat...
Could you check if the If the Data Suplier Bridge is running?
