CLM Generating .Docx as by defaulft when comparing two .doc documents?

Hello Everyone,

When i am comparing the two .doc file in the CLM 9.0 system it is generating a .docx file as a version comparasion document by default.

Is it the natural behavior of the system ? if it is then is it possible to change it so that it can generate .doc file after comparasion?

Because our client mostly use MS office 2003 and .docx will not open in thier machine.

Help will be appreciated,

Hi Rakesh,

I believe that it depends on the MS Word version which is on the server side. In case it is MS Word 2007, it will be generating .docx documents. Have you been able to check that ?
