steps to do after instlation of solutionmanger7.1 sp04

hi

we recently installed the sap solution manger 7.1. after the insulation we upgrade the kernel and  apply the license.

what are next steps i have to ....

how to access the java stock of the solution ???

Hi Vreddy,

1.You follow post installation step.

2. Solman_setup

Java Access url : http://<hostname:portnumber/

NWA : http://<hostname:portnumber/nwa

SLD: http://<hostname:portnumber/sld

For example:

http://hwdprod:50000/

  Thanks for the replay, when i do the solman _setup browser is open  but it is not show any thing on the browser. what steps i have to do?

If your browser dosen`t show logon screen check in rz10 in instance profile icm/host_name_full and SAPLOCALHOSTFULL (in pdf page 10/56) on page 11/56 you have link  solman_setup tcode which described configuration steps.

Hi,

please goto tcode SICF -> and activate all the HTTP services

Active Services in SICF (SAP Library - Web Dynpro ABAP)

Whether your logon user has all access to execute solman_Setup.. give sap_all access and try,

thanks for the replay....

i was login with another user with having sap_all access, but nothing is hapen to my solution manger. it shows an error in ic man . i have enclose the error ,please help me

Call Transaction SMICM.

       2.      Choose Goto -> Trace file -> Display File or Display Start.

Hi Veerareddy,

  • Check your Instance Profile Parameters & FQDN.
  • Check the firewall in your server & desktop> might be blocking the URL port Numbers.
  • Adjust the DNS settings. keep your desktop also in the same domain & try.
  • Try to open the URL's with full Domain name & partly also like...

               EX: http://hostname.com:50000

                      http://hostname:50000
