How to restrict CLM users to access confidential Contracts

Hello,

We have an requirement were users should be restricted based on the confidentiality of the contract in CLM.

As per our understanding all the users who are the part of Collaborator lists should have access rights this standard.

But client want few users based on the criticallity or confidentiality of the contract.

Any solution or input is heighly appreciated.

Hi,

We had to meet this requirement based on a custom solution. We created a checkbox for 'Confidential' on the Header tab of MA and upon save of the MA, we wrote a script to selectively delete certain collaborator groups. We excluded collborators of type user to be on the MA but some other groups were deleted based on the conditions.

Hi - Thanks for your reply.

But the challange is that we are adding collaborator through group and many users are part of that, and it would be difficult to filter or delete users based on the different contracts.

Please advice.

Hi,

Those folks are an absolute part of all MAs, we add them via the document security template. The script that we wrote ignored any groups to be deleted that were created via document sec template. Then any users who are floating, we add them via other security group, so in your case you may want to look at different security groups instead of just one or a few.
