Use of Staging Area or Dock Door in WM

Hi All,

My business customer would like to reinforce their picking process. Today we create the TO and Confirm to 916 (using the delivery number as the intermin bin ) and then goods issue. In the future we are going to a handheld scanning solution and they would like to include another confirmation step. 1) Scan the pick (confirm the right material and bin) with a move to a staging area or dock door 2) then confirm the movement from that dock are to a truck (to be sure the right product gets on the right truck. Followed by the goods issue.

Can anyone describe a similar process ?
