I just finished installing a Java instance on an existing ECC6.0 ABAP system.
I am told I have to Patch the java instance now.
Can anyone help me with this procedure?
Thanks
Complete instructions on how to apply patches can be found on the Service Marketplace at http://service.sap.com/installnw2004s -> Maintenance -> <SP Stack> -> NetWeaver 2004s Support Package Stack Guide - SPS##.

Dear Raminder Braich,
I have downloaded the following .sar file:
SAPJ2EE_22-20001370.SAR
Do I put this file in to the usr/sap/trans/EPS/in directory?
Thanks for all your help.

The following should help you in the Java patch procedure:
1. After download is complete move the downloaded archive (.SCA) files in to the usr/sap/trans/EPS/in directory.
2. To deploy the downloaded support pack components start JSPM.
3. In the file system, go to the /usr/sap/<SID>/<Central instance name>/j2ee/JSPM directory and run the go.bat script.
4. Enter your password for SDM and hit enter to log on
5. Upgrade JSPM before apply any support packs
6. When deploying the complete Java Support Stack, Select the option Support pack Stack and hit next button.
7. JSPM detects the downloaded archived components and offers only those that can upgrade currently deployed components. Select the components to be upgraded and hit next.
8. Once the queue is confirmed it then moves to the next process of Deploy Queue, when it then deploys the components but not quiet in the order as displayed on the screen as it follows the deployment dependencies.

RSB
