HANA - SLT Replication (Fields selection)

Can we select limited number of fields for replication while configuring SLT jobs? E.g., SAP Retail - MARA table has lot of fields, but I need to get only 15-20 fields in HANA, can I configure the SLT job to replicate only the required 15-20 fields?

Hi Anu,

Yes it is possible to add/delete/change table structure & fields before it is replicated from source to HANA. Please read through sections 5.3.1 and 5.3.2 in this guide - http://help.sap.com/hana/hana_slt_config_en.pdf

Thanks Anoop. So, Replication Schema Settings can be done on SLT server not from HANA Studio - Can you please confirm.

Yes, you do all of that within the SLT system. From within the HANA Studio, you would only start/stop/pause the intial load/replication of individual tables.
