Find the right NWDS for PO

Hello experts,

at the moment i am wondering if there is a need, that the NWDS patch level corresponds to a patch level of a special component on PO. I know NWDS and PO should have the same SP-level, but what about the patch level. Is there any dependency?

Hello,

If i am not wrong there is no specific patch level dependency and in my opinion we should always use latest patch version of NWDS, but still you can wait for others to comment on the same.

In my case i am using "nwds-extsoa-7.3-EHP1-SP05-PAT0001" and it's working fine.

Hi,

Higher version of NWDS is not support of lower version of PO e.g. if you have PO at SP 1 and NWDS at SP4 then you will not able to open the mapping object in NWDS.

I faced this issue and to use exact or lower version of NWDS will solve the problem.
