Discounts wrong with Product Hierarchy

Former Member

Dear Experts,

My system uses Product Hierarchy to manage Materials and build the discount policy base on it. Howerer, System calculates wrongly for discount.

For Example: Product Hierachy is such as:

Product Hierarchy Level 1:

  1. 10000 - Dink
  2. 20000 - Laptop

Product HierarchyLevel 2:

  1. 1000030000 - Beer
  2. 1000040000 - Wine
  3. 2000030000 - Apple
  4. 2000040000 - Sony

Tthe discount policy such as:

- Discount for Beer is 10%

- Discount for Wine is 11%

- Discount for Apple is 12%

- Discount for Sony is 13%

When create Sales Order with Material A with Product Hierarchy 1000030000, Material B with Product Hierarchy 200003000,

System only entry discount for a Product Hierarchy level 2 is 3000 (beer or apple) or 4000 (Wine or Sony) and calculates for Material A is 22 % (equal 10%  plus 12%).

I want to calculate discount for Material A is 10%.

Please help me solve this issue

Thanks,

BinhTC

Hi,

Are you using Bill of Materials concept in sales ordering. That is one of the scenarios where this can happen.

Also is your discount condition type a Cumulated condition type. (The field "Structured condition" has the value as cumulated condition). If this is the case, your situation is possible.

Please confirm on these two situations, so that somebody can help you.
