Batch determination of component in BOM during production recording

Hi All ,

We are triggering production recording of a product through an interface. As the interface sends data to SAP , production recording is triggered. The BOM contains finished products also which are batch managed. There is only one batch date maintained for these component (finished products). So during the production recording , the batch date ( or in other words only a particular batch date) should be selected.

Currently production recording happens but an entry is generated in MF47. Then we have to go to MF47 and enter the batch date to complete the production recording.

Any suggestions to enable only a particular batch of the component( finished product) to be selected during production recording.

can you be more specific? like the field of batch date?

from the input which you have given:

cant you do a second recording to run in sequence, that means after doing the production recording, why dont u run MF47 in the same trigger? that means do one more recording for MF47 and run this also in sequnce.

if not possible, then share some details with fields and technical settings.

Hi All ,

We have been able to use user exit coding in MFBF which auto populates the batch date when the data comes from interface for production recording hence fulfiiling our requirement.
