Best RAD for SAP Mobile Application Development

SUP -

FLEX with Netweaver Gateway

PhoneGap with Netweaver Gateway.

Or any other technologies

Please suggest.

Hi Kaleel,

Each of the below has its own advantages.

1. SUP -- MBO : For offline native apps.

2. SUP-ODP : For simple online native apps.

3. SUP-HWC : for HTML5 apps

4. Syclo Agentry:  For rapid  cross platform app development. (http://www.syclo.com/mobile-platform/rapid_app_development)

To start with, I would suggest you to go for SUP-ODP. You can develop simple online apps using native IDEs(Android/iOS or BB) to consume Gateway services. Out of AN/iOS/BB, I feel AN is the easy to setup and start with.

Also you can refer to beginners guide @  http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-23532 for step by step approach.

     There are many frame works that you can use which help you to create apps for all popular phone OS's like iOS, Android, Blackberry and Windows Phone8 simultaneously.

You could try out any one of the below frameworks

Phonegap

Worklight

Appcelerator

Both of these products can help you achieve creating of an app that can be deployed across multiple devices.

Personally, I would recommend that you get started with Phonegap as it is the easiest to master and is also a tried and tested tool.
