Sap ME 6.0 with Loftware Print server

Hi There,

We have some specific Printing needs which can't be met with ME-ADS solution since it only supports few PDLs - PCL,PS, ZPL and PDF. Bottom line is with ADS,We can't user Brother Ptouch printers.

So,We are thinking of using Loftware with ME. So far i didn't find any proper documentation available other than some bits and pieces which are not really helpful in configuring the whole scenario.

Would any of you provide any documentation on this ? Thanks in advance.

Hi Hari,

The last time that I can recollect the Loftware was mentioned in 5.1 related documentation here:

It mentions com.genrad.app.core.sys.server.FormatLoftware to be used in Formatting field.

In 6.0 I would expect it to sound like com.sap.me.document.FormatLoftware. The rest of configuration seems to remain the same. You should use SY520 with this.

Hi Sergiy , I have got the Loftware working with SAP ME 6.0 But some how i Sy520 is not working.

I am using SY521 with formatloftware class and its working fine.
