Hi.

I have a question, I want to move objects from to PRD. I see we have two options , File System and CTS+.

In case of Export and Import object with File System,  the PRD System will recognized and change the Business System?

For Example on PI DEV the Business System for ERP DEV is BS_100 for Production is BS_300. I created my SA,RA,ID,RD with the Business System BS_100 on PRD will be change for BS_300 , is manually also this change?

Regards.

Hi Fabrizo,

This conversion will be mentioned in your PI SLD. Nothing needs to be done Manually, all the information will be mentioned in PI SLD and the conversion will be automatic. Please find the below blog for better understanding:

Hi Fabrizio,

If you have installed multiple SLD servers, the SLD bridge can be configured to send data to each others. This is described on

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/43/da21ba13660aa5e10000000a1553f6/frameset.htm

Distributed SLD Servers

For some large system landscapes that are distributed over different geographic locations, a single SLD

server might slow down the performance of involved application systems. In this case, a distributed SLD

server installation can be taken into account.

In order to ensure consistent data of the distributed SLD servers, the SLD bridges of each location have to

be configured to deliver system data to all distributed SLD servers as depicted in Figure 2 (point C). In

addition, if any data has been entered manually, this data has to be entered in the Web-based UI for all SLD

servers, too (point B).

Note that the distributed SLD servers can cause higher administration expense with regard to consistent

data. Therefore, we recommend that you consider to use a single SLD server first.

Thanks.

So the idea is synchronized both SLDs? and then make the configuration like the above blog.

Hi Fabrizio,

Can you please let us know why you are using multiple SLDs? Is there any advantage of using this?
