Partially assembly of a somponent in CMS

HI All,

We have made changes to a number of different mappings that happen to be in the same software component, so there are 7 entries in the assembly tab for the component. We have tested one of the mappings and want to move it alone to PRD, but I cannot figure out how to get the assembly step to only pickup the transports I choose. It seems to ignore the selected line and assemble the entire component. Is there a way to partially assemble a component?

Hi Jin,

This is very helpful, is the subset assembly only available after a certain support pack? We are on XI SP16 and we do not get this option when we hit the assemble components button.

Hi Richard -

Are you exporting your individual component again from CONS/QA? You must do this in order for the subset assembly option to appear.

BTW, SP16 is fine for this...

just select that mapping component or that corresponding namesapce and click on assembly .
