Unable to create DC using NWDI

Hi,

We have installed and configured NWDI. We also created Product, Software Component tracks etc.

We are able to successfully import the development configuration in NWDS.

But when we try to create a new WebDynpro DC, is shows a message "DC creation failed"

We found the following in the NWDS Error Log -

Error: Name Reservation: CIM_ERR_ACCESS_DENIED: User is not in role LcrInstanceWriterNR

com.sap.lcr.namealloc.api.CommunicationFailureException: com.sap.sld.api.wbem.exception.CIMException: CIM_ERR_ACCESS_DENIED: User is not in role LcrInstanceWriterNR

We are using NW 7.01 SP11 and using remote SLD (NW 7.01 SP3)

Can you please help us sorting out the issue.

Hi Sudip,

Have you setup the connection between NWDS and SLD?

You'd need to assign the user in the SLD to the group SAP_SLD_DEVELOPER (which has the assigned role LcrInstanecWriteNR).
