Error in Sender sFTP adapter

Hi All,
   The current verison of PI is 7.3 with SP 05.  The requirement is we want to migrate the current sftp UNIX script and use sFTP adapter provided by SAP. Basis team last week imported sFTP adapter  from SDN website(Installation and Upgrades -> Browse our Download Catalog - > SAP NetWeaver and complementary products -> PI SFTP PGP ADDON). With the Receiver sFTP channel I'm able to put files but facing issue in the the Sender sFTP adapter. Below is the error I see when I try to pull files from the sFTP server.
     
12/12/12 9:55:04 AM   Exception received: 2: Listing of . failed.
12/12/12 9:55:04 AM   Cannot find channel attribute suppressEmptyDirException, possibly metadata not updated. Using default value "false".
12/12/12 9:55:03 AM   Listing /folder1/

The default path after loggin into sFTP adapter is /folder1. So I tried both the below methods, but still seeing the above same error.

Method 1 :  /folder1
Method 2 : ~/
Method 2 : /folder1/
