Hi All,
I have read lot of posts in SDN regarding Mmemory managemnt ,but its not clear ,can any one explain me the what are the memory mangement parameters in SAP,what is the roll of memory management,for example if system is slow what memory profile parameters needs to check .Kindly provide me the overview and how memory management will play role in while starting and stopping SAP

In the context of startup of an SAP system, SAP application takes the memory required from the shared memory of the server (RAM). In a running system, the memory management for dialog and background work processes are different. The link above gives an overview of the parameters related to memory management
