Netweaver 7.3 AS ABAP installation error

Hi,

I am installing NW 7.3 AS ABAP on RHEL5 + Oracle 11g using software provisioning manager 1.0 tool , while define parameter phase-->Compress tablespace parameters, I am getting error. Checked sapinst.log

with name SAPINST was requested but this package is not defined in the packages
section of the component. SOLUTION: Contact installation development.).

Please advise....

Try using option SAPINST_USE_PACKAGE=FALSE

SAPINST_CHECK_PACKAGES=false

is the right option..

Thank you Shanser...........issue resolved as per your info & sap Note 1704754 - Inst.Systems based on NetWeaver 7.3 and higher: UNIX Oracle.
