Dear Venu,

You can take the Item Category Group as "NORM" & Item Category as "TANN" for FOC materials.

Venu,

The screen shot that you have pasted looks "strange".

Higher Item category = TANN

Default Item category = KLN

What process are you trying to configure?

1.In VOV4, change the entry to

Higher Item category = TAN

Default Item category = TANN

2. In your Material master record, put Item category group = NORM

Venu

Which is this special business process?

Where, you have this kind of Item Cat Determination.

which, include Higher Item Category as TANN and Default Item Category as KLN.

Hello,

In SAP Standard TANN is Item Category & not Item Category Group.

Please check your Item Category Group in Material Master & Item Category Determination rules that you have set.

For any further information on Item Category determination & Item Category Group, please search the forum.

Thanks,
