Automatic creation of Vendor Quotation with reference to Sales inquiry

Hi Experts

Our requirement is once we create Sales inquiry then Vendor quotation should be created automatically with same material and same quantity mentioned in Sales inquiry document. Kindly give your valuable suggestions.

Hi,

I feel it is not possible through standard SAP, since the Inquiry is not actual Order. Inquiry may or may not be converted to Quotation/Contract/Order.

However it is possible in case of Sales Order. Search for the MTO (Make to Order) process in SCN.
