Hi Mownika

Setup document is avaialble in service market place for all version.

Please take a look at following document.

http://service.sap.com/bpm
->Media Library
->->Technical Information

  • SolMan 7.0         Setup Guide - Business Process Analytics 7.0
  • SolMan 7.1 SP1-SP4 Setup Guide - Business Process Analytics 7.1 SP1-SP4
  • SolMan 7.1 SP5 >=  Setup Guide - Business Process Analytics 7.1 SP5

SolMan7.0 + SolMan 7.1 SP1-4 are based on BP Analytics version 1.
As of SolMan 7.1 SP5, BP Analytics was enhanced and become version 2(More powerful).

Also BPO dashboard integration is avaialble.

Brief highligt of both version are described in following blogs.

On Analytics version1

Hi Keiji,

I have set up BPA in our system and able to see the data as well.However the issue is after the first load, when i try to add new key figures , they do not seem to be displayed in BPA.

I did load monitor couple of times, the status moves form scheduled to loaded.

The EFWK job is also scheduled and running.

But i cant seem to get the new key figures data loaded and display on BPA.

We are on SP03 currently.I dont seem to know what config is missing or the issue.

Hi Mownika

SP3 (Analytics 1.0) is simple. So configuration is very simple.

According to your description, you mentioned you already see the data in Analytics.

If I understand correctly, you already see some graphic in Analytics screen right for 1 key figure.

(Trend Graph, Benchmark)

But if you add new monitor& key figure, even defined data collection time is already past

(due to extractor data transfer you have to wait around 1h after data collection), you cannot

see additional data in Analytics (not appear analytics selection screen right ?)

If this is the case, data collection start time of your Analytics Monitor.

If it start 01:00 AM, you have better to check the result at lesat 1 hour later.

Becasue after the 1AM, BPMon engine start data collection request to managed system

and store collected data. And the extractor load stored data into SolMan BPA Cube.

(There can be around 1h timelag).

Load Master Data is just for text loading. This loading also handled by extractor. But

compared to above(transaction data loader), this happen immediately.(but transaction data

load happen like above).

And even you did not conduct load master data, data is still avaailble in analytics

with technical name like plant 0001, Sales Org 1000 document type LF.

Even you wait more than 1h, you do not see any data, double check whether you got some

dump in manged system (like timout).

Depending on the environment, required data collection time becomes different.

If online data collection failed with timeout, better to use background mode.

This you can define at your monitor(scheduling setting).

Hi Keiji,

Thanks for your response.

I see time out dumps in the system and the data collection is set for background mode.
