adobe forms developed in Adobe reader10 and deployed in 9.3.4

Development of few of the interactive adobe forms are done in Adobe reader 10 and deployed in client's system which is of version 9.3.4. Can this be the cause for Adobe reader 'Software Failure' message that is coming in our system when trying to display the adobe form.

Hi,

What is the exact issue you face? The forms you develop are not reader based. The development takes place in the Livecycle Designer what is independent from the Reader Version used.

Hi,

We have a custom alv report on selecting a line item and when we click on edit eform, Adobe form integrated with webdynpro will be called. But, while rendering the form we are getting the message Adobe Reader 'Software Failure' and we are unable to proceed further in editing the eform.

I have installed Adobe Reader X still no luck.

Please let me know what might be the cause.

this is a Reader Installation / Integration Problem. Please use the latest SAP GUI Available on the Markeplace.
