com.sap.sql.log.OpenSQLException: Could not load class com.ibm.as400.access.AS400JDBCDriver.

Any tip to solve this ?

Could you please check your "sap*" user in client 000  is it lock ? Please unlock it. During upgrade SAP will use "sap*" user for UME connectivity, even though you specify some customize user.

Another question is are you using any external UME or local UME. In case of of external UME, system was unable to reach the external UME.

Goodluck

Hi Dipam,

Java Stack is up and running so the user to connect is unlocked. Also is SAP_JSF and belogns to 001.

There is no External UME.

Please advice.

Hi Sargan,

Could you please check the folloiwng guide ( ABAP+Java) ( does not matter wheather SP05 or 06).

Update of SAP Systems Using Software Update Manager 1.0 SP05.

On page -19, it explained about user sap* and I faced similar issue.

Even though it mentioned about downtime, better unlock sap* before starting of upgrade.

Might be helpful for you.

Goodluck

Hi, Dipam,

User is unlocked and as documentation explain this is an automatic proces that lock and unlock sap*.

We're doing Configuration Stage... and this process belongs to Downtime stage.

Do you know what check it out ?

Cheers.
