Dear experts ,

There is a scenario --- when a customer purchases a tv set - the company is giving one set top box and one yr. annual maintenance ( service) in free .... how cud I do the necessary customization ??

You can handle this through Higher level pricing Billing of material - BOM(ERLA).

I hope you are aware the Free Goods determination does not supports different materials as free goods.

So, the best solution I can think of for this Sales BOM(Item ).

BOM Level	Material	Relevence for Pricing	Relevence for Deiivery
Main BOM Material	tv set	Yes	Yes
Sub BOM Material	one set top box	Free	Yes
Sub BOM Material	one yr. annual maintenance ( service)	Free	May not be relevent.

You might need to do some modification in item category determination as one of the sub BOM material is service material.
