Blocking of Freight Units

Hi,

My questions related to reasons under which Freight units get blocked for planning by the systems:

In a FWO, with dates/locations assigned - if FUs and actual stages(based on stage type-movement type data) are already created, what is correct way to change dates/locations - such that resulting FUs donot get blocked for planning.

At times, I have observed that by changing the location/date three:

• business partner tab,
• dates/locations tab
• dates/location data in stages tab

the change reflects in All related FUs get reflected and FUs remain plannable.

At other instances, changes begin to reflect in the FU but FUs becoming blocked for planning. This is when FWO doesn't show any planning block.

Hi,

if you have a planning block on the FU, there should also be a block reason available, which should say, why the FU is blocked for planning.

Knowing the block reason would help answering your question.
