repeated notification from /SAPSRM/OFFLINEAPPROVALSEND

Dear SAP expert,

We are in SRM 7.01 with backend ECC 6.05 and deploying classic scenario. During approval, we utilizing report /SAPSRM/OFFLINEAPPROVALSEND to send approval notification to approver via email. We plan to schedule it to run periodically every 15 minutes.

The notification is sent successfully, however we find out IF the approver has not approve this in 15 minutes, in the second run, the email will be fired off again to the same approver. If let's say a director has not approve the SC, we can imagine the spamming that he got if the director has not approve the SC in two days.

Is there a way to make sure that the email notification is only sent ONCE for approval per object?

Hello John,

to not send approval mail for same workitem twice, be sure field "Work Item Creation Date From" from selection-screen for /SAPSRM/OFFLINEAPPROVALSEND report is not populated.

In this way, data from SWU_WLSCAN table is used.
