Thank you, Neeraj for your prompt response!

We have VIRSA release 400_620, there are no rule sets defined, therefore when users we go to Rule Architect global rule set is empty for all business process. My goal is to upload standard rules and then modify according to business need. But i do not have standard rules, Please help if there is any way to download standard rules for VIRSA 4.0. from SAP portal.

Again, I really appreciate your help !

Hi Arvind,

For VIRSA 4.0, rules files are not available on SAP SMP and you cannot use 5.3 rules files into 4.0 release. You need to check the BC set into your system. It should be there.

Follow the below steps to generate the rules in 4.0.

Thanks & Regards

Neeraj

===================

1. BC Set Activation in the transaction SCPR20.

Go to the transaction SCPR20 and search for the BC sets for the
Rules. The BC set name usually begins with "/VIRSA/CCRULES_40" and
"/VIRSA/CCRULES_TEXT". Search for the similar Rule Set and then activate
both the rule sets.

(Please note that you may be prompted for a transport request depending
on client settings while activating the BC sets. You can use this
transport to transfer the data to other systems or clients instead of
activating the BC Sets again. Remember that you still need to install
the support packs using SPAM in the other systems.)

2. Long Description Transfer/Activation.

After activating the BC Sets, Go to transaction SCC1 to copy the Long
Risk Description text from client 000 to the client where you are using
SAP Compliance Calibrator.
You will need to enter the SAP Package # for the Virsa install.
Go to Client Copy -> Execute in Background and schedule the job. It is
                                                                 Page 2

not recommended to run this in the foreground.

3. Rule Generation Report.
After the above steps, run program /VIRSA/ZVRAT_RB1_UPDRULES via
SE38.

- Select Radio Button for Tcode and Object Level Rules
- Enter * in the RISK field
- Go to Program > Execute in background

Once the above steps have been completed successfully, all the Rules
will be populated in the Rule Architect tab of the Compliance
Calibrator.
