Planning Objects Transport

Dear DP Experts,

Using TSOBJ manual transport of Planning Area and it dependent objects, I am unable to Transport the planning area

I see some arbitrary planning books and one of the MPOS getting transported. Obviously it means  nothing.

Question:

How to get the Planning Area and MPOS, Planning books and Macro books transports right the first time ?.Seems like many people envountered this error.

Does the objects need to be deactivated (PA and POS) before transporting ?

The return code I get is a fatal error 0012. (during import of transport)

Looking forward to helpful reply.Very little is documented on troubleshoot. Notes I see are distantly relevant.

Try transporting a second time. Sometimes for no obvious reason the second transport works, as the first time it transports, and the second time sends the rest.

I tried multiple times.

This was the issue.. if we can call this an issue.

The number range object BIM99999988 that stores the SID's of 0REQUID has the running number different in Dev and QAS for obvious reasons.

So I had to maintain a current number for this number range animal BIM9999998 in the QA system

and then everything moved to QA.

I am not sure if there are any other hidden reasons that can make this happen.
