I have updated my test machine from Duet Enterprise SPS2 to SPS3. Now I cannot create BDC Models anymore from GSDO Types when using the BDC_BROWSER. It throws no error when I hit execute. It just sits there and does nothing.
Anyone else encountered this issue. We have created BDC models successfully before when we were on SPS2.
Hi Nizaar,
Please take a look at note 1723098. It might fix the problem.
Cheers, Alex

Hi Alex,
I tried SAP Note 1723098, but it keeps telling I have not fulfilled prerequisite notes, even though I have.
According to the note these are the prereq's:

0001664055 Issue if I use the same prefix for 2 different GSDOs | 0120061532 9583 0001411561 | |||||

Note 1723098 is mentioned twice, dunno why. I have downloaded all these SAP Notes and where possible implemented them with snote, but still I get the message when implementing note 1723098 that there are unfulfilled prerequisites.
Hi Nizaar,
I just recently did this in a system. I was also prompted that I was missing some prerequisite notes. I just let SNOTE pull them all down for me and had no issue getting note 1723098 applied. Maybe try it one more time and let SNOTE apply them all. If this doesn't work then please create a support ticket.
Cheers, Alex
Hi Alex,
Snote did the same for me, pulling down all the notes, but to no avail. I have tried multiple attempts to implement this note. Thanks for suggestions, I have raised an message.
I have marked your answer as correct because, I am pretty sure it is the right answer.
And althoug it is a some work I can always manually implement the note corrections myself.
Added note. This problem only occures when not using transport to create your BDC model.
