Solman 7.1 CHARM: Partner XXXX may not be used in partner function Tester

We are configuring the CHARM in Solman 7.1.

When we create the change document (Urgent Correction) , it is not allowing me to assign Tester and IT Operator.

Error: Partner XXXX may not be used in partner function Tester

Diagnosis

It was defined in the master data in the function exclusion list for partner 1968 that he may not use partner function Tester.

Procedure

Assign partner function Tester with another partner or maintain the exclusion list in the master data for partner 1968.

The issue was resolved by maintaining "Sold to Party --> Excluded Functions" for the required business partner.

Check below note 1728284 - ITSM: Partner Functions for the WebClient UI and attachment https://websmp204.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/012006153200000501102012E/Partner_functions_configuration.pdf assign them role 'employee'.

Hi Hasan,

in the concerned business partner, you should create the view "contact person" via transaction BP.

Frederic - thanks it worked for me.

The BP definition/attributes of the user is important here.

Refer to SPRO: SAP Solution Manager -> Capabilities (Optional) -> Change Management -> Standard Configuration -> Transaction Types -> Partner Schema -> Define Partner Functions
