Error while downloading in Seeburger HostFTP

Dear Experts,

There is  an error that has been recuring in Seeburger  HostFTP adapter with the below error description:

Status Error on receive, task will not be retried

Status Description  Error While downloading file : <filename>

The scenario is  :

HostFTP - > PI -> IDOC

Kindly provide your inputs on this.

Hi,

unfortunately this is not a lot of information to be able to give you any kind of useful input.

I would suggest to take a look at the trace to see what is happening during this connection.

In the HostFTP there are multiple configuration options (different host types...own scripts...) and the different possible hosts have different behaviours and steps how to interact with them, which means that you also should provide here some more details about your scenario/host.

When this error  occurs in the Hostftp adapter , the following logs appear in the communication channel:

"Error while doing secure handshake".

Hope this helps .

For time being  i have increased the polling retry count from 3 to 10 . since then i have not seen the error.
