bom transfer problem from r/3 to c-folder

we have uploaded BOM from R/3 to PLM C-folder 4.0 with T-CODE cfe02.

when we checked the doc in C-FOLDER user name it is showing as ALEREMOTE.

we want the actual user name to appear please help.

if upload is from desktop, user name appears but not from R/3.

checked with TCODE SM59 from R/3 to C-FOLDER RFC connection.

Hi Amit

If you need to fix the problem for each user, do not maintain any user ID in the RFC Connection.

In this case whenever you run the transaction CFE02, system will ask for a user ID to logon to the cFolder system. You can use the appropriate user ID.

The basic idea behind this is that the document is created by the name of the RFC user.

this will fix the the problem for one user what abt the rest of the users.

Hi Amit,

please check your settings for the RFC connection in SM59. On the tab "Logon&Security" you can select if the user ID of the caller or a default user (e.g. ALEREMOTE) is used.
