Add button to Sourcing Cockpit Webdynpro

Hello, We are on SRM 7.1 and need to add custom button in the FPM second step of sourcing cockpit. The button needs to be provided on the webdynpro  (WDC_DO_SOCO_GAF_2) in the toolbar in the row next to 'Propose Sources of Supply'. When the button is clicked certain validations need to be done and messages reported back to user.

We are looking for how to add the button to screen and where the code needs to be written. Appreciate any help!
