Is product hierarchy and material group can be correlated?

Can product hierarchy and material group can be correlated for having a structural relation?

Hi Ram,

Product hierarchy and material group can indeed be correlated and both of them come from the material master. So you can have a mapping file of various levels of PH to different material group values. Having said that it is possible, it will add to duplication of data in the system which is unnecessary.

I dont know why you need two kinds of data to classify the material using the same characteristics.
