gif file Opens in IE

gif file format Opens in IE instead in separate window as it does for other Workstation applications..I don't exactly remember if it opened in separate window earlier. Other workstation applications are working just fine.

%auto% is the Path given for Workstation Application Network (LIM, GIF)

Do we also have option to open Image files (Ex: jpeg, gif format) using - integrated viewer or In-place with maximiyed screen as we do for MS Office application?. Please advise.

May be in your PC, you must have maintained IE as default application to open the *.gif files.

You can try changing it by following below mentioned instructions:

1. On your PC, right click on the *.gif file and chose the option "Open with"

2. Select "Choose Program"

3. Select the application you want to associate *.gif files, and Do not forget to select the check box "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file".

That's all you are done

Yes you do have.

In DC30, Define the workstation application for *.gif" file.

In the " Define workstation application in network", define "Application" as shown in below picture.
