hi friends , plz mk a favour ... i'm facing a problem ... d thing is that , in SCN a couple month ago i registered with a mail id .. and all of the notifications drop on it ... now i tried to change ...but what happened , d log in mail id has changed but notification mail id i can't change aftr doing lots of effort. anybody can help me in this regard how cud change my notification mail id in SCN ??

I guess you must have overlooked the statement, quoted from the 'Rules of engagement'
Please avoid slang and SMS Text Speak.
I don't know what is 'login mail id' and 'notification mail id', I only know the Email that is attached to your userid. Log in, Go to your profile; for you it would be http://scn.sap.com/people/arghya.ray
On the lower right hand panel, you will see "Change Email Address".
If changing this email address does not fix your problem, then I suggest you repost this in an appropriate forum (this is a forum for SAP SD problems, not SCN problems). Try

thanks for your reply ... let me clarify my problem ... when I registered in SCN it required a mail-id which is log-in mail id and from that time all of notification from SCN flooded in it.But after a couple of month , I wanted to change my mail-id which I registered in SCN ... then I clicked ""Change Email Address" option in my profile. After a few moments , the mail -id has been changed by which I use to do log in SCN ... but , when I checked the "Edit profile & pryvacy " option , the mail-id has not been changed and it remains as the earlier mail id and most surprising thing is that in " edit profile" tab the email field "non-editable" by the user ... once you are registered with a mail-id in SCN that can't be changed and all of your notification drops on that mail-id ... but your log in mail id can change .... ...
even , you can do this exercise if not believe ... actually facing this problem - becoz , my working mail id flooded with SCN's notification n that creates a mess --- there is two option - one is to stop notification which I dnt want to do and other one notification bypassed with a new mail-id which I'm trying for but yet I couldn't ... that's why I desperately look after a remedy to sort out this problem.
