By default, inspection types 01, 04, 05, and 08 are relevant for handling unit management (meaning that handling units can be linked to the inspection lot with status HUM). On a current project, we have a need for other inspection types to be relevant for handling unit management, particularly 09 and 89. In versions 4.6C and 4.7, there was an OSS note that described the process for making an inspection type handling unit relevant, stating that doing this is a customer modification. However, I am unable to recall that OSS note or find it right now in OSS. I would be grateful if somebody could provide the relevant OSS number, or any other information about making an inspection type handling unit relevant in ECC6. Is there a way to do this now that is not a customer modification?
