hello gurus,
can anybody please throw some light on Sales booking schedule while on call.
My Client says that they receive a call from customers everyday and sales representative just enter information into excel sheet which is this
Customer Name
Material required
Quantity
Date on which they want materials
Right now they are working on Excel that is why they do not create Customer but in SAP Sales Scenario they have to create the Customer Master.Order Frequency through calls are hight 10 to 15 calls per days and customer's request different materials every time . Is there any way to handle this type of scenario means On Call my client enter information in the form of Booking Sheet in SAP then after words create Inquiry or is it possible to link that booking sheet/Information with Sales processes .
Like on-line registration or on line reservation .
Best Regards
If your client is having CRM implemented, then you can record since CRM is having the facility to record under Campaign Management.

Hi
Have you thought about setting up a Once Off Customer master record that you can use for these initial quotes.
The you can use an SD Sales Quotation and include a generic material and just add the relevant quantity to get the price and over type the description to create an ad-hoc material.
Once this has been accepted you can create your customer master and material then create a Sales Order from the Sales Quotation.
There are a few ways of achieving this but the above would be the way I would go.
Thanks,
Dean
