Hi Experts,

What is the difference between EWM100 and EWM110? Both functionally and also on the material content wise?

Regards,

Ravi

Hi Ravi,

EWM 100 - Is for first time EWM users. The course contains definitions of terminology, warehouse structures, delivery types etc.

Additionally EWM 100 also teaches users how to navigate and perform end to end warehouse processes.

So in a nutshell EWM 100 gives you and overview and makes you learn how to use the software.

EWM 110 - Takes a step further. It enables you to configure the system to enable business processes in the warehouse.

Course EWM 100 is recommended for users/consultants who are new to EWM and would like to learn EWM functionality.

Course EWM 110 is recommended for consultants and super users who will be performing configurations.

Hope that helps.

Hi Bhagya,

Thanks for your reply, definitely i can understand that EWM110 has some add ons , but I need to know more details like ....I am just rephrasing the same in the another way

Option-1

Lets say EWM100  has contents A, B,C, D basic topics.

Whether EWM110 has the same contents with Advanced knowledge like A+, B+, C+,D+ topics

or

Option-2

Lets say EWM100  has contents A, B,C, D basic topics.

Whether EWM110 has the same contents with Advanced knowledge like A, B, C,D, E, F topics

or

Option-3

Lets say EWM100  has contents A, B,C, D basic topics.

Whether EWM110 has the same contents with Advanced knowledge like A+, B+, C+,D+, E, F topics

or

Option-4

Lets say EWM100  has contents A, B,C, D basic topics.

Whether EWM110 has the same contents with Advanced knowledge like C+,D+, E, F topics

In nutshell Lets say example if a person does complete certification in EWM110 , can we say he has covered everything and all topics in EWM?

Or even though he did the certification in EWM110 , he needs do certification in EWM100 too?  then only we can say he has covered everything and all topics in EWM? ( example Refer the Option -4)

or simply he grabs some additional topics in EWM100 that is sufficient?

Appreciate your detailed reply.

Ravi

Hello Ravi,

if you focus on certification and you know what logistics in general does (e.g. you know ERP WM), you can skip EWM100 and visit EWM110 & EWM120 & EWM125. These 3 courses covers all EWM100 content (the basic topics) + you'll get knowledge to customize some selected business szenarios.

If you are totally new and you start with e.g EWM110, it's hard to understand & follow the training speed because the basic topics covered in this course are very short.

So if you are totally new in logistics (no idea what cross-docking, picking, staging, labour management does) you'll get in trouble following the course speed ...

Hope this helps you

Regards,

Matthias
