Hi,
please help me out, how to assign a new custom transaction to an user. And please tell me whether this assignment is client specific?
Thanks & regards,
Praveen
You simply can use the favorites, or create a role using the PFCG tcode.
then assign it to the user.

Hi Praveen,
You have to create a role for this.
In the easy access menu u have a button create role.
Give role name.select create role
Select MENU
there is a symbol add transaction(Here add ur fav transaction code)
Then select USER tab.......give the username and validity period(which can be left blank)
Now save everything and from next time when the user logs in he has only authorisation of this T.code.(make sure that he has not been given any other authorisations in SU01 T.Code)
Actually, the BASIS looks into this.
Assign points if useful

Hi,
Its a basis job, but the recommendation to do this has to come from the functional guy who in turn obtains an approval from the business owner ( or the one superior person who is in charge of that function ) of that object for which this new role is being provided to the user.
Hope it helps.
Thanks & Regards
