SAP PI JCO RFC Provider

Dear ALL,

Our System is PI Netweaver 7.3

We got the golive verification session fromSAP for that system.

and they recommend us to configure parameter for JCO RFC Connections as below

-------------------------------------

GW:AI_RUNTIME_<SID>, current value=0, default value=20

GW:SAPSLDAPI_<SID>, current value=0, default value=5

GW:LCRSAPRFC, current value=0, default value=5

The configuration must be set via NetWeaver Administrator > Configuration Management > Infrastructure > JCo RFC Provider.

-------------------------------------

when we go to the path that SAP give, we only can found:

AI_RUNTIME_<SID>, server count=20

SAPSLDAPI_<SID>, server count=5

LCRSAPRFC_<SID>, server count=5

Is the parameter same? or we should create another JCO Provider that start with "GW:"?

and another thing is, where is the value that we should add?

We can see the server count. is the value that recommend from SAP is belong to server count?

Thank you before

Best Regards,

Yudi

Hello Yudi,

No need to create the parameters again. To increase the server count we need to login into config tool and select the service rfcengine.

Dear Pradeep,

Thanks for your reply.

so GW:AI_RUNTIME_<SID> same with AI_RUNTIME_<SID>? GW:LCRSAPRFC same with LCRSAPRFC_<SID>?

and the value that SAP mention is belong to server count?

Actually I can change the server count in NWA. is that same if I change in NWA and in configtool?

Best Regards,

Yudi
