Facing error while applying support stack in solman 7.1 through SUM

Hi Everybody,

Facing problem while applying support stack in solution manager system.Error message has shown below.

Unable to wait for SDT event PREUPTIME=FINISHED Unable to hold the execution of SDT request UC .The executor of SDT request UC failed

while waiting The SDT request is forced to abort due to the failing request ABAP.

You can find MORE INFORMATION IN THE LOG FILE /backup/sol71_soft/sdt/log/SUMUseCaseExec.log.

Dear christian hammel-woitusch,

We faced the issue because of java system does not up and running.

After that we stopped SAP system and cleared the memory(cleanipc,ipcs commands) and again started SAP system.Now the problem was resolved.

If you have any issues please let us know.

thanks for this idea - i gave it a try but with my SolMan the problem seems to be consistent. I'm completely stuck here with the SUM. Reset does not work neither something else.

I did open a call now and wait for some ideas from SAP-side...

Hi Maruthi,

i faced the problem that the JVM - version was not correct. After fixing this it worked. I started SUM from scratch and now I can go on.
